experimenting on an old piece of tea stained paper with coffee and salt, i used to loove using coffee in my works, back in highschool and stuff, splattering it all through my sketchbooks and soaking paper and everything, got recently re-inspired to do so, so might be doing more of these little things - i had started working on a larger painting but im still not all there and i find these smaller paintings less intense, more therapeutic at the moment, so that piece is on hold
not happy with the scan, its blurry and got this weird wet patch on the painting that won’t dry, but i couldn’t be bothered waiting for it and its only a little experiment piece anyway iv’e got another small one that was almost done but it got all wet overnight too, really odd
i was gonna sell this too...
coffee, watercolour, chalk, salt, pen, pencil on tea-stained paper
it's lovely! the colours are really beautiful, and I'm impressed how you managed to create a little movement in the background tht suddenly makes this lady appear.. well done! great piece
