thanks hun, um i don't really remember how long this took, aside from the sketch/rough planning, working on and off from the actual painting maybe under two weeks? maybe longer, this was awhile ago now but was a commission so i know i spent a bit longer on this, just thinking about it a bit more and everything.
I usually work on more than one thing at a time so my attention gets diverted over a few different pieces, and depending on how motivated i am can determine how quick something will get done - the heat (as silly as it sounds) can be a big factor in how fast i work, somedays its just tooo much and all i want to do is become as pruney as possible in the ocean. haha.. but yeah, roughly two/three weeks, a few hours a day (while drinking) is my painting method ;p and yeah this is watercolour mostly, cheap paints, and using a bit of pencil and pen, just whatever i have at hand sometimes, its the paper i think that has the biggest effect on the way my things turn out, i hardly use the same type of paper twice (which is actually not recommend as i seem to have to learn the paper properties every time i paint something new, like taking two steps back one step forward) and its not always watercolour paper, im poor so i use whatever i can get my hands on..:D hope that answered your questions x
